University Lutheran is just one of the four Lutheran congregation participating in the Thrivent Builds project in Tallahassee. Each of the four congregations contributed to the construction costs and have volunteers working at the build site.

David Ferguson, the University Lutheran Coordinator for the project reports " We are now in the final stages of painting and hanging the outside siding. It really looks good and we know our family is really going to enjoy their new home."
Everyone is invited to join in the building of the Lutheran Habitat for Humanity. Shifts are from 8:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM-4:00PM. Lunch is provided. The site is located off of Eddie Rd, which connects Centerville Rd and Lonnbladh Rd. Email the Editor
For those of us who have worked on the house it has been a rewarding experience. I want to thank all of those who have worked, donated monetarily and helped with the food.
